Tropical Cyclone Alfred

As at 3rd March 2025, Tropical Cyclone Alfred is classified as intensity category 1 by the Australian Bureau of Meteorology tropical cyclone warning centre. 

It is expected to intensify to a category 2 and is currently projected to approach the southeast Queensland coast on Thursday, March 6th.
