1. If you have booked your insurance but haven’t departed yet: You should seek reimbursement from Tigerair and possible alternative travel options offered by the airline. If you are cancelling your holiday, you 05/be eligible for non-recoverable pre-paid expenses of hotel accommodation , excursions etc with InsureandGo. If you wish to lodge a claim for cancellation, please contact InsureandGo on +61 2 9333 3999 so we can access your claim before making any alternative arrangement. 2. If you have already departed and your journey has been interrupted whilst overseas – You 05/be eligible to additional expenses incurred overseas and additional expenses to return to Australia through Tigerair. Please visithttps://tigerair.com.au/fly/travel-alerts for more information. If you wish to lodge a claim for any additional expenses incurred overseas due to this event please contact InsureandGo on +61 2 9333 3999 along with the document from Tigerair outlining the reasons for not covering the additional expenses. Any compensation received from the airline will be deducted from the final settlement amount. 3. If you have just booked your trip with Tigerair and looking to buy insurance, please note that you will not be covered for cancellation of your trip or any expenses incurred overseas as this is considered a known event from 3rd Feb 2017.
